Equitable partnerships and sharing learning

BSH Global Haematology Special Interest Group (SIG)

Date: 20th June 2023

Time: 08:30 – 16:15

Venue: Friends House - London

The BSH Global SIG has organised a workshop to provide an opportunity for participants with an interest and experience in global haematology to come together and share ways to facilitate more mutual learning between haematology professionals from the UK and the Global South.

At the workshop there will be presentations of practical examples of equitable UK-Global South partnerships. There will also be plenty of opportunities for informal and round table discussions among attendees to share your own experiences and interests in Global Haematology.

To provide some background to the workshop we will provide an update on the activities of the BSH’s Global Haematology Special Interest Group (SIG) and there will also be an opportunity for you to input to the Global Haematology aspects of BSH’s new strategy.

The venue has limited capacity, and places will be reserved on a first-come first-served basis.

Registration is free. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
