The Global Haematology Scholarship supports those undertaking short-term educational UK-to-LMIC or LMIC-to-UK trips to gain experience in a different field, undertake new research and/or help establish and strengthen international links.
It's highly desirable that these educational visits are in the framework of a well-defined institutional link and/or training programme within the overseas institution.
Please note that BSH cannot arrange a placement for you. You should only apply for this grant if you have already made an arrangement with a host institution, and can provide a letter of support from them.
This scholarship is governed jointly by the BSH Research and Grants Committee and our Global Haematology Special Interest Group (SIG). The SIG is open to all of those with an interest in haematology issues in low- to middle-income countries. Find out more and join the Global Haematology SIG.
