Time: 08:30 - 17:00

The BSH Education Committee has organised an Induction Day for ST3s in haematology in order to help aid the transition to speciality training. This year the event will be held on Friday 7 July 2023 at the Royal College of Pathologists in London. This highly popular event is aimed at newly-appointed trainees expecting to commence their haematology specialist training in August 2023. It is primarily attended by those at CT2/ST2 level although those starting trust grade or locum jobs are also welcome to apply.

The programme is packed with training highlights and essential knowledge exchange, including a hands-on morphology practical (one microscope per two people), case-based group discussions on transfusion and coagulation problems, and lectures offering advice and essential survival skills for new trainees.

Previous attendees have found the day incredibly useful and enjoyed meeting with new and current trainees.
