As an international community of haematology professionals, the BSH is acutely aware of the unfolding disaster in Ukraine following the Russian invasion. All those affected are in our thoughts.
As healthcare professionals, we are conscious that many of our members will want to provide practical help and support where possible.
We are contacting colleagues in the region to determine what is needed, and how the society and its members can best provide assistance.
We will update our members on this page when we have more information.
In the meantime, if you wish to make a personal offer of help, contact the NHS England and Improvement Stakeholder and Engagement Team at [email protected]. This method is particularly recommended for offers of healthcare assistance, to avoid duplication of effort from colleagues employed by, and associated with, the NHS.
