The British Society for Haematology (BSH) and Wiley are delighted to announce the renewal of the partnership to publish the British Journal of Haematology for a further five years. Established in 1955, British Journal of Haematology is a long-established, highly cited journal publishing original research papers in clinical, laboratory and experimental haematology, helping clinicians and researchers around the world keep up to date with the latest recommendations, developments and protocols. BSH and Wiley co-own the journal and look forward to continuing this collaboration which supports the haematology specialty worldwide.
This announcement comes at an important point in the journal’s development with Professor John Barrett MD, recently Chief of the Stem Cell Transplantation Section of the Hematology Branch, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda MD, and currently Director of the Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program at the GW Cancer Center, George Washington Medical School, Washington DC, poised to take over as Editor in Chief from 1 January 2019.
