BSH is seeking to appoint a Consultant BSH Member to join our Communications Committee.
The Communications Committee is a small group of dedicated volunteers that span the diverse nature of the haematology specialty. The committee supports the development and implementation of the BSH communications strategy as well as advising BSH administrative staff on relevant and informative content for the society’s communications channels.
The role requires monthly 30-minute teleconference calls with the committee and staff, as well as bi-annual committee meetings at the BSH London office. It also involves advisory work on BSH projects such as the Annual Scientific Meeting and the upcoming BSH 60th anniversary celebrations for 2020. The role will require between 1-2 hours a month.
This is an ideal opportunity to help play your part in shaping the direction of the BSH and is a great way to advance your career in the haematology specialty. No specialist skills are required, however an appreciation and understanding of social media would be an advantage.
BSH membership is highly desirable, however we will consider applications from non-members if they demonstrate skills and experience that would suit this role.
To apply please send your CV and a short covering letter detailing what you would bring to the role and any relevant skills and experience to [email protected]
